About the workshop
The first workshop, JWPS2012, was held in November 2012 at Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, and aimed to gather together scientists working in China and Japan at the forefront of research on positron science in order to share information on the most recent progress in relevant fields. One year later, a second workshop, JWPS2013, was held at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), in Tsukuba, Japan. The third workshop, JWPS 2017, was held on June 9–11, 2017 at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China. The latest workshop, JWPS2019, was held on October 10-November 2, 2019 at Nara Kasugano International Forum IRAKA, Nara, Japan.
With this history as its foundation, JWPS 2026 will be opened more widely to the international community, including researchers from the pan-Pacific and European communities. Through this broader participation, JWPS 2026 aims to further promote positron science, strengthen international research networks, and provide young researchers with valuable opportunities for exchange, discussion, and future collaboration.
